The new Insolvency Proceedings Practice Direction (the IPD) came into force on 25 April 2018.
Attention is particularly drawn to:
• paragraph 8.1, which clarifies paragraph 2.1 of the Electronic Practice Direction 51O regarding out-of-hours administration filings and CE File; and
• paragraphs 9.3.3 and 12.4.2, which confirm that the official receiver's deposit relating to winding-up and bankruptcy petitions can now more conveniently be paid by debit of credit card over the phone.
An updated (as at 11 April 2018) version of PD 51O (the Electronic Working Pilot Scheme) is also available .
The only change is that the pilot scheme has been extended to 6 April 2020.
The Practice Direction also deals with the distribution of court business, service of court documents, draft orders, validation orders and applications relating to remuneration
